Dr. Tom
Dr. Tom Jensen lives with his wife, Tiffany, his son, Samuel, and daughter, Laney, in Sioux Falls, SD. Dr. Tom grew up in Vermillion, SD where he earned a degree in Biology at USD. He then attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, MN, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1999.

It was at USD where Dr. Tom had his first chiropractic experience. While playing football for the USD Coyotes, Dr. Tom experienced a serious neck injury. He first sought care from the physical therapy, athletic training and medical staff as recommended by his coaches. After two weeks of this care Dr. Tom was not getting any better. He was unable to hold a pencil and experiencing painful numbness and tingling in his arms and hands. It was then that one of his teammates told him he should go to the chiropractor.

With any information, you can choose to do one of three things. You can implement what you have learned. You can put the information in your pocket for later. Or you can bury the new stuff in the sand, never to be seen again. Dr. Tom chose to put this chiropractic information in his pocket. It wasn`t until another 2 weeks had past with still no relief that Dr. Tom took his teammates advice and visited a chiropractor.

That was a life changing experience! Before his first adjustment, the chiropractor said to Dr. Tom, "The power that made the body can heal the body as long as there is no interference." Dr. Tom then got adjusted and within 15 minutes he was gaining feeling back in his hand. Dr. Tom knew from this moment he had been called to share chiropractic with others. He changed his major from criminal justice to biology and the rest is history.

Dr. Tom says, "I love what I do! My goal is to make the world healthier by educating and adjusting as many families as I can. I know the world would be a lot better place if everyone got adjusted and had a healthy nervous system, and felt great!"

Tiffany Jensen
Tiffany is married to her family chiropractor. It was watching Dr. Tom`s enthusiasm and passion for what he does that grabbed her and brought her to work in his office. "Seeing the excitement in his eyes each day when he returned home made me want to be part of changing peoples lives too!"

Tiffany has an undergraduate and masters degree in education and taught elementary and middle school for 8 years before coming to work for Your Family Chiropractor. Tiffany enjoys using her education experience and skills to teach Mothers Morning Out classes and children`s classes at the clinic. You may also contact Tiffany to schedule a seminar with Dr. Tom. 
 
Charity McMartin
Charity began her work as a chiropractic assistant in 2004. Charity is responsible for various back office duties at the clinic as well as assisting Tiffany with scheduling, payments, and checking in for your visit. Charity is a life long chiropractic patient. Charity, her husband, and four sons have been patients in our office since 2001.

Chiropractic became very personal to Charity when her son was diagnosed with severe asthma. Having always been a proponent of natural healthcare, Charity was weary to put Tavian on all the medications prescribed for him. Since his asthma was so bad though, Charity and her husband decided to try the medication for a while. Worried about the long term side effects of these strong drugs, Charity also brought Tavian to see Dr. Tom. Soon after beginning regular chiropractic care, Tavian was able to go off his daily steroid and antihistamine medication and resume a normal childhood. Tavian now tells all his friends they should come visit Dr. Tom and wants to be a chiropractor when he grows up!
Linda DesLauriers
Linda joined our team in September of 2005. Linda’s voice is that cheerful voice you hear on your telephone reminding you of your next appointment. Linda is essential to daily office procedures as well as helping patients have a great visit at our office. In her “spare time," Linda is a student at USF and plays for the USF tennis team. Her enthusiasm both on the tennis court and with our patients here at Your Family Chiropractor is extraordinary!
